this is not correct. the cards you see up in the air when it is slowed down are the board cards, not KGB's hole cards. [/ QUOTE ] this isnt correct either the cards in the air are from the deck but on the other topic, they look to be 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (what a coincidence) the 8 is almost certainly a spade, which would make it hard to be the T |

[ QUOTE ]
was Teddy going to kill Mike if he had lost? It sure seemed that way to me. [/ QUOTE ] thats not how the mob works. It makes a good movie line, but in reality works nothing like that. If he lost teddy would "own" him. Literally. Most likely ted would bankroll him in games where Mike was behind the line on losses and gave teddy like 90% of winning to settle the debt, add 5 points to the debt a week and teddy would have another earning tool, not to mention a shill for his games in the club. MIke would be a nice earner for KGB and KGB would keep it so the debt would never get paid off by puttin him in games that would make Teddy money but keep Mike in his service for as long as he was earning to his standards. Thats how these things work. When he's dead, he not only can't pay or earn for you, but you open things up to the police crawling up your keester. Why the hell would they do that? Whacking him is a lose, lose situation. |

this thread is weak. The whole damn thing. Out of control weak. Its for the best that you posted it here. Posting it in OOT would have caused some intense mockery. Let it go, man. Let it go. peace john nickle [/ QUOTE ] |

I always thought it was bullets. 'That ace could not have helped you'? Someone had the other 2. Same hand as the 1st one.

he had AT
do you remember a hand early in the same sitting where MD flopped top two pair and laid it down because he read that KGB had the nut strait? same situation just reversed. now MD has the nut strait and KGB has top two pair. only difference is MD gets paid with his strait and KGB only picked up the blinds with his nut strait. it shows that MD can outplay KGB, thats all. |

when he said "that ace could not have helped you"
he says that because he thinks MD is on a draw and and the ace had no significance on any draw that MD could have had. it doesnt mean KGB had AA in his hand. |

[ QUOTE ]
I would say he could be holding TT, 66 or 77. A strong hand all the way through like a set would be plausible as he may be thinking that an overbet like 2000 would keep MD in by smelling of not wanting a call. [/ QUOTE ] and Teddy makes the pre-flop raise, McDerment simply calls with suited connectors... correct moves by both men |
