That original $100 chip is absolutely sick! How much for something like that?

I never asked about cut inlays.

I haven't specifically asked either, but I know someone else in the past had (I vaguely recall a post), and they will only do round inlays for home chips...

I definitely like black w/ red. I could live with the white, but not my favorite. I prefer the gray over white. Two colors I don't like on chips -- white and pink.

Well, I definitely wouldn't want to have 2 chips w/ the exact same colors, so we'd have to change the red in that case...as for the pink, I guess I can understand, but the one chip I was sure of before we started was the $25 w/ light green and pink - it's just classic and looks perfect to me!

Personally, I like the black with gray and lavender a lot...similar to this, but with a darker pink:

This is hard!

I'd leave the green alone. Enough moving variables.

Sky blue and yellow would look good on black. The red looks good too.

Sorry, Ray -- I had the wrong post, when I said "your set of examples" I meant Pinata's set of examples, and specifically the "Barona" chip, yellow with brown (maroon?) and black. But you guys seem to have figured it out without me.

I heard back from Dennis. The $0.85 quote is only valid as long as we stick with the double-wide edge spots, so we will not be able to get any half-moons, thin edge spots, etc, but he said it is okay to do the double-wide spots as we have on the $0.25 and the $1 chips. So once we settle on colors and confirm we have enough definite orders for at least 5,000 chips, we should be good to go - just need to work out the financials. They require a 50% deposit up front, so I suspect setting up an escrow account would be the best way to handle this.

Also, please let me know how everyone wants to handle the "filler" chips - i.e., if we want the $0.25 marked, the $1000 marked, or both as fillers.

Here is the latest color combinations and set of mockups:

$0.25 (non-denom?) Gray - Double-Wide White/Dark Blue
$1 - Dark Blue - Double-Wide White/Light Blue
$5 - Red - Black/Gray
$25 - Green - Light Green/Pink
$100 - Black - Gray/Lavender
$500 - Purple - White/Orange
$1000 (non-denom?) - Yellow - Black/Brown

Any serious objections to the current color schemes?
