I'm more accustomed to online play than live, so I worry about giving tells because of inexperience. Hence, whenever I'm in a hand and the action is on the other guy, I lean forward slightly (for comfort), keep totally stonefaced, and burn a hole in one of the board cards.
Seems to work ok. |

I think about baseball statistics, trunks full of dead grandmothers, my cat being flayed alive, and repeat to myself "don't come, don't come"
Wait, what are we talking about? |

Depends on if you want him to call or fold....
If I want a call, I cross my hands, breath easy and look at a spot on the felt until he makes his decision. If I want a fold, I cross my hands, breath easy and look at a spot on the felt until he makes his decision. |

After reading this suggestion on 2p2 a few weeks ago, I actually tried this and it worked. When I wanted a call holding the nut flush, I gave the guy about 15 seconds in the tank, then I took out a white chip and flipped it to a dealer, as an anticipated toke. He called.

Very nice, but if it was me in that hand and I saw you do that, my cards would be in the muck before the dealer could bank his tip. |

Stare at the table while I shuffle chips whenever I bet over 200, or move all in

I focus on my opponent to try and reverse the situation and make him uncomfortable instead of vice versa. Also if it's a situation where he's going to re-raise me I want to see if I can pick up a tell on him.

I'm usually rolling my eyes and tapping my hands nervously on the table waiting for the slow motherfucker to make a decision.
