2/4: Proper Pre-Flop Fold?
Just sat down not too long ago, so no real reads...Last hand, MP1 had 88 and just limped so I put him on better than that, but apparently he was just varying up his play.
What would you guys have done with the AQ? Thanks! Re: 2/4: Proper Pre-Flop Fold?
You were right to fold, don't worry that you would have had the winner/split. With that action, a big pair or AK is too likely.

Re: 2/4: Proper Pre-Flop Fold?
Don't show the rest of the hand. And with that extra padding of the CO in there I'm not folding. I'm not folding even if the CO isn't in there, but I'm prepared to drop ASAP if the flop doesn't hit me.

Re: 2/4: Proper Pre-Flop Fold?
What are you hoping they have to 3-bet with or cap that you beat? At best, you're drawing to 3 outs out of position.

Re: 2/4: Proper Pre-Flop Fold?
I assume it's legitimate unless they prove themselves to be retards or they're LAGs. Without reads, I fold this.

Re: 2/4: Proper Pre-Flop Fold?
This is an easy fold.
EDIT: suited and its a call. This hand just cant make enough hands here. |

Re: 2/4: Proper Pre-Flop Fold?
But what kind of flop are you looking for? If AK is out there, you have 3 outs to a Q, and that's only if there's not a K too. If QQ or KK is out there, you have 3 outs to your A. If AA is out there, you're drawing very slim. And if multiples of these are out there, you're screwed.
Edit: Yeah, suited is a call every time. 16-2 is fine odds with the flush possibilities as long as you don't stay married to the hand if it's Q high and tons of action. |
