Aj is not the greatest hand in the world though it is better short handed.
My problem is that he is up against a maniac and a rock.
even maniacs are not complete idiots.
They normally like to bet out heavy but will back down when played back at unless they have something.
Obviously this hand is gonna make a fool out of me since the OP stated he did not lose his stack here. However, in the lond run I still think this is -EV.
I very much doubt a maniac will call with something really bad but could easily do so with a pair.
