If you just call as I would, then there will be around 1550 in the pot and villain will only have 2K left. If his min raise was merely to buy a free card on the turn with a draw or top pair, he isn't going for the checkraise. Min raises are confusing and don't always mean that someone is beating you and just trying to suck you in, as in this case he might have AJ/KJ trying to push AK out. I would call and then lead out for 1200 into any non-threatening turn card which effectively sets him in and takes away the steal play from him if he has a pair and gutshot straight draw and a spade hits.
