Re: Everyone\'s favorite reads
Thanks you for confirming that I am not completely insane Lacky. So, now that it has been established that HOH has SNG strategy in it, are there any other books that include it?

Re: Everyone\'s favorite reads
I don't understand. HOH certainly discusses strategy for Sit n Go tournaments right? Also, how I understand how useful the search function is when I already have in mind something concrete to...

Re: Bubble hand with flush draw
I don't think it's assured that the two limpers will fold if you push. I get called all the time by limpers when I push on the bubble, but I guess I only play at the $11's so that's not really...

do you mean for poker in general, or for sngs?
[/ QUOTE ]
sorry should've been more specific. I meant the best books for NL SNG's.

Everyone\'s favorite reads
I was wondering what everyone considered to be the most useful poker books that they have read in their careers. I'm having trouble deciding which ones to read now that I have devoured both volumes...

Re: ITM hand, limped in w J10, flopped st8...
I think you need to push here. You should be playing for first place and you wouldn't be playing for first if you fold to the possibility of being against a flush or full house. He's not desperate...

Hi Citanul,
I was wondering if you knew of any software like pokertracker of pokeroffice that is compatible with Pacific Poker. They do not send out detailed hand histories like most other...

Re: need help on this bubble hand
I thought for sure that I would only have to worry about the BB after a raise and a reraise if he had QQ+ and AQ+. Also, I hate just calling JJ because I never know whether to push on the flop when...

Re: Was This Draw Played Well?
I agree. The flop raise is only sweetening a pot that you're not sure you're going to win. Unless you're planning on bluffing later in the hand (which I wouldn't recommend) I would stay away from...

Re: Too rash?
Well the two big stacks have folded, which is good. I think I still wait for a better hand though unless I'm on the button there.

Re: Easy call? (10+1 heads up)
I think a big factor here is how your opponent plays heads up. If I'd been able to steal blinds from him easily then I might lean towards folding. If he's been pushing all the time then its an easy...

Re: Do you like this bubble push?
Since when does only having 6x BB mean that you're not in need of any chips? I think you need chips pretty badly. That being said, I would still wait for a better spot.

Do you know how the villain lost so many chips early on in the game? I think this information would be useful in your decision.

Re: $10 SNG question
While it is nice to be the first one to show aggression in a hand you are probably better off waiting until you can be first to enter as the button or have better hole cards. I would fold both.

I think that many of the problems that you face are a result of raising with marginal hands out of position. Avoiding these situations and you won't face as many tough decisions.

Re: SnG Hand Review...Help
Don't second guess yourself. Trips are too good when you are heads up to start worrying about folding to a possible full house.
