Re: Dealers most hated and stiff report
[ QUOTE ]
i am by no means a stingy tipper, i tip well, but there are a bunch of things that piss me off about some dealers:
1. what difference does it make if you dealt me a 1000$ pot or a 100$...

Re: Should I have bet this turn?
Villain limped in UTG+1. Usually this is either some weak suited connector or a monster. By the turn you have obviously ruled out a monster so I'd have to put him on something pretty weak.
Could...

Re: Weak Ace vs unknown!
After the flop without any reads, you must put your opponent on:
1. A set
2. 2 Pair (likely AT)
3. Spade draw
Say #1 or #2 are 70% probable and #3 is 30% probable. If #1 or #2 is true then...

Re: Bottom pair after lots of folds
There is the possibility that the button has a lower pair and was trying to get heads up with you. I would at least bet the flop and see what he does.
Without a read though, there aren't any...

Re: slow down?
Generally the limp-reraise signifies a monster hand but at this limit with no read, a monster is not a foregone conclusion.
TT isnt that strong in the face of a 3bet (limp/reraise or otherwise)...

Re: QQ - Standard?
The fold on turn is obviously a good one - but what about the flop call? Its an interesting problem to analyze.
If you believe in your read then Villain is about 90% to have AA/AK/KK/TT and 10%...

Re: Problems with flopping a single pair
Hand 1 - on flop you have no hand and no draw
Middle pair when an ace on board is no hand. With 4 callers, its not a bad assumption that at least one of the callers of your raise (remember that...

OMG - use the converter so we can help you!
I think the flop bet is a good feeler if you get raised but if you only get called, you have to be OK that you are beat. Who would call that board if...

The Party bonus is unbelievably easy to clear (compared with other sites like UltimateBet). Fire up 2 or 3 tables and by the end of your normal session, its done!

Re: Folded to me in the small blind
Completing was the worst possible action pre-flop. It leaves you with a Jack high drawing hand out of position heads up. Your bets look like they could range anywhere from Qx to nothing and you...

Re: Double Paired Bored: Good Laydown?
I'd call it as well. The SB bet is suspicious as if he really only has a 7, then he must think he'll only get called by somebody with an 8. I'd put him on unimproved overcards or a Q that you...

Flop play is OK to see where you are at, but you got called and the board is uncoordinated so there is a descent clue that your opponent probably has an A or a T. Since your preflop raise is cold...

Re: Am I being to aggressive here?
Whenever somebody bets into the preflop raiser, you have to give him credit for at least a semi-bluff, so if you don't have any piece of the flop, a reraise is just leaking money (imo). You still...

Re: 2 pair, fold the turn?
You can very well be behind 67, 89, or 88. Reads would be helpful to see if your opponent would have open-limped with 88 or 99 fron MP2. Its probably just as likely that your opponent is on a spade...

Having just made the move myself, the biggest thing I notice is that the game is just generally more aggressive. More 3-bets, more flop and turn raises - just more betting in general. This makes...

I like the turn bet because it will tell you what you need to know about the hand. If you are raised then you know you are beat (or at least have to give the respect).
Since you are just called,...

Re: KTs flops nut fush draw and 2nd pair
If your read is reliable then it seems like you are wasting a bet on the river to call. It is difficult not to put him on at least an ace or two pair. Either way, when the 4 pairs on the board and...

The flop bet is designed to find out what these other guys have. When UTG raises, even though it appears random, I still have to slow down with the draws out there.

In addition to what has been said, the board makes it unlikely that nobody is on any type of hand. If your read was that your opponent will call very loosely, then what gave you the idea that you...
