Re: raise the flop with KK with an A on board?

It all depends on whether you think BB is capable of betting the turn with middle/bottom pair or unpaired Broadway gutshots.
The flop raise and turn bet is not terrible if you can get...

raise the flop with KK with an A on board?
No real reads to speak of. Should I in general believe that villian has an A in this situation? I don't like the idea of just folding here when bet into. I also don't like just calling, so I...

Very true. My bad. That's why I suck. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
But I'm still leading the turn.

Re: A hand from the session review
I don't raise this PF and I check the flop and raise a bet from someone in late position. If reraised I let 'er go but if not I lead again on the turn. Is that totally wrong?

Re: JJ OOP with2 overcards on the board
My plan was to fold to a bet on the turn. I figured that one of these guys had at least a Q.
I think you're right about the river. I should have bet it. And I think the "firing away" strategy...

Turns out it was me vs. other underpairs and an A high. It turned out to be a good table, with VPIP in the 40s. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

SB has 5s 5d (a pair of fives.)...

JJ OOP with2 overcards on the board
This was my first orbit at this table so no real reads on villians.
I really didn't like being first to act on the turn but was surprised to see it checked through.
The river was a blank so I...

This is poor thinking. With no reads at 0.50/1, it is highly unlikely that BB is going to bet/fold. People at these stakes just don't do that commonly. Hell, it's uncommon at higher...

Short answer is no one is folding to the raise. The only hope in a raise is pushing SB out, but only if he is tight which our read says he isn't. Everyone else is getting odds to draw with...

I think against 2 opponents we need to bet this flop. I'm not worried about being out-kicked. It's a ragged flop and villians must have one of the remaining 3 kings to be ahead here.
