Re: \"I\'ve got a big everything baby\"

Is it bad that I've lost interest in the final table, and all three low limit games I'm playing right now???!!!

Re: Thanks again for your support

Greg,

I've never met you, or responded to your posts on 2 + 2. But from what I've seen of you and read about you and most of all, what your friends at 2 + 2 say, you're all class. What an...

Re: How much money do you need?

2 mil if you're frugal, 5 mil if you less frugal. I'd side to 5 mil. If i'm relaxing, kight as well do it comfortably.

Re: Card Player Radio on Air

One thing I've noticed about the card player team. They might be the best "sports" announcers ever. They have the whole knowledgeable but down to earth vibe, but they actually seem sincere. Football...

Re: I\'m a complete Moron!!! Orleans Open No Limit Hand!

At that point in the tournament, just tip your cap, flip over 77 if you must, and play the next hand. At best you're 55-45 against the chip leader. Even if he said, "hey, I have AK, you should not...

Re: A Growing Feel

You both hit good points. No way am I advising to call raises with the worst of it. It is fun to play small hands cheap. I was trying to say that smaller hands offer more oppourtunites for good play...

Re: Late Tournament Situation - Right or Wrong

It sems to me that it was borderline between raising around 3600 and seeing a flop or going in. Considering AA most likely woul've put you in anyway, the result ,on-line at least, was unavoidable.

A Growing Feel

Unless an overwhelming favortie before the flop, I'm beginning to think I like to play from behind in this game. In hold'em, AA, KK, QQ, AK other than that, I'd rather be a decent dog. Favs seem to...

Ever get a hand where you hated every option.

Middle of a limit hold'em tourney far from the money. t1550 in your stack, T2000 average stack, dealt 77 UTG. Can anyone make a good arguement for calling, raising, or folding. I called by default...

Pressure

The key to this game is pressure. Presure x3. You work people into making mistakes. At 2-4PL on line, you have to create mistakes. Not everyone can play this strategy. But if you can, pressuure,...

Tournies

You want to get it close, 4-5 handed. If you read S&M they wll get you to that point. After that, it is a whole lot of feel. Big games are about feel. I'm preaching but before you go into a big game,...

Re: No Limit Hold Em Tournies; Is 7 to 3 enough?

Capone's correct. The key to No_limit tourneys is to get your money in when you have a CLEAR advantage. 7 to 3 is good enough. Unless you're in a situation where 19 people are left in a tournament...

Re: Pacific

Realize that most of poker is taking the most advantage of oppourtunities givin to you. Lower limit, you just play solid and take the low hanging fruit. Someone gets out of line, usually with a call,...

To whom ever I drew out on

The 2-4 game at poker stars might be a very agressive game only suitable for some. I had a legit draw I thought I played well. Pots get relatily big, the calls get closer. Its not disrespect chasing...
