Re: San Diego Cardrooms

I live in SD right now Univesity City, to be exact. But I'm down to roll to Viejas on a Saturday or something. I like playing their morning tourney on Saturday, $3,300 Guaranteed. $25 buy in + $2...

Re: Getting Value from AA First to Act.

[ QUOTE ]
The best thing to do is widen your range when opening from EP. Are you raising AQ/AK here? ATs/AJs/midpp/small sc ocassionally? Of course this is very table dependent but on the...

Re: Getting Value from AA First to Act.

[ QUOTE ]
If you're in late position, you could make an argument for 3.5x BB if you're opening.

Raising 3x BB in SSNL is not good.

If you just take the blinds down every time you're either...

Getting Value from AA First to Act.

I don't feel like I'm getting value from my Aces when I'm first to act. I make my standard raise to 4xbb when I pick them up and more often than not, I end up scooping the blinds.

I would never...

Re: when your stack gets large

I'm not to versed in play, but are you suggesting you get up and leave and sit out the 30 minute then buy back in for $300? Every place I've been you can't just cash out for half the money on the...

Re: Insert mole joke here

Nobody's mentioned that MM has 21k in chips. It's not alot, but he's doubled his stack. There would be much crow to eat here if he got deep in this tourney.

I would however wager a...
