Re: JJ -- who else changes my river?

Wait, you lost to T9? Ouch. I still think you cap though.

Re: New poster. Flop question

[quote
If someone has a set we have:
9 to the flush draw
0,425 outs to runner runner full house
((5/47)x(4/46)) x 46

So make that 9,425 outs.

Re: hand converter

Maybe I'm really dumb, but I've never been able to get hands from Paradise to work. Exactly how do you go about it? And just to be clear, we are taling about bison's, right? Thanks.

Re: Do I call this river with a four flush on board?

I don't think you can reraise preflop against an EP raiser on the first hand at a new table with 99. In fact, if he hadn't of posted the BB, he probably should have mucked against the raise.

Re: JJ -- who else changes my river?

I cap it because QQ or KK is so unlikely that the money you make here when you are up against the majority of hands you can beat will more than make up for the money you lose when you are up against...

But you are on the right track, if hero is behind a set here he does have 11 outs to beat it, 9 spades and the other 2 Queens. As mentioned above, if we are suspecting a set we'd...

Re: Did I screw this hand up?

Ok thanks guys. I thought about mentioning that he was almost all-in, however, I didn't realize it at the time. While I know that it is something I should pay attention to in the future, I wanted...

Re: Did I screw this hand up?

Not real long. 15 hands tops. No real reads on anyone. I felt that with all that action, its too easy for me to be beat. Guess I was wrong.

Did I screw this hand up?

I'm playing .25/.50 on Full Tilt with 9 players. I get QsQh UTG and raise. 3 folds, 1 caller, 3 more folds, including SB, and BB reraises. I pop it again, and both players call. Flop is 8s 5c 4s....

Re: Your thoughts on Super System

I found a similar situation. I read S/S and felt like I was just clinging on to bare life. Then I read a few others, then back to S/S and it was like I saw the light. So I definately get what...

UTG has $50.25, 4th has $75.00, and I have $40.50.

No, they don't cover stud and limit exclusively. I've only read I and III, but I recall reading an essay in one of the volumes where Mason argues against a belief that Omaha is "the next Hold 'Em." ...

Id think about simply going all in preflop, since you dont have many chips. Postflop is fine, but I would definitely not have limped, its either push or fold, and I personally would have...

Was this raise a mistake?

Re: Monster AA pot, scary looking 4th street betting.

Just curious as to why you didn't cap the flop? Afraid of KT? Even with the KT possibility, I think I'd still be capping.
