Re: Which is more profitable? 8 5-10 games or 6 10-20\'s?

600 big bets meaning 18,000 total.

And yes I do recommend 500/600 BB as well. Sure you almost certainly won't lose 500 BB, but when the -200BB swing happens (when, not if), its a much much easier...

Re: Liberal Blind Defense

If you think the TAG is a smart player, then I don't think he/she folds enough to make this move. I've been in hands like this before where I try to 4x blind steal, and I know that you know that I'm...

Re: $30/60: AA in action pot with terrible turn card.

Any reads? Without any, and given this is 7-handed, I think this is a river call. MP could be a donk, or a tight player (the type to check the river with QT when a flush hits, so the bet shows...

Re: 30/60 30K PT checkup

Looks like you are running pretty well. The only thing that sticks out to me is that you steal more blinds, and defend more blinds. If you are a top notch HU player, then this could work for you -...

Big pot - donk bets, or good value?

Party 20/40. I don't find myself in big multiway pots often anymore at the Party 15/30 - 30/60 and wasn't quite sure how to play this one. Being a large pot I thought I'd play it aggressive, perhaps...

Re: Last night was shark fest.....

DpR: yea thats one of the worst Sat night's I've seen. But if you're playing at a table where the loosest player is a 27 vpip, that may be poor table selection? I mean the tables were bad, but I've...

Re: 80/160 #4: AJs

[ QUOTE ]
So say you raise the turn, he calls.. river comes a 5, checked to you.. Do you bet that river or just check behind or does it depend on what comes on the river?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd...

Re: AQs in the BB, you play it the same?

[ QUOTE ]
Not raising preflop is disgustingly bad.

[/ QUOTE ]

I would disagree. I think this is a raise most of the time against loose opponents (and given the info the poster has provided...

Re: 80/160 #4: AJs

I like raising the turn (to get out QQ). Fold to a 3-bet.

Between calling and folding the turn, I prefer to fold, but given that the turn was called, I think the river is a pretty clear fold (but...

Re: Why do people suggest VPIP 16-19 is too low for the 15/30?

My first post here, I'll reply as a fellow ~18 VPIP/10 PFR player.

I belive the optimal VPIP is highly player dependent. The better post-flop you are, the more hands you can make +EV. I started as...
