Re: Poker on an Xbox

real money on an XBOX? It'll never happen until congress addresses the legal implications of online gambling. Whenever it does happen, however, I'd bet those will be the softest ... games .......

Re: 88, possibly being isolated, but he keeps jamming -- IHC

Am I the only one that bets this flop and folds to a raise with a call? If the flop isn't raised, it seems like that would make future streets a little easier to play, too.

when I was scanning topics, i incorrectly read this as "Multitabling on LSD." Needless to say I was expecting quite a different conversation.

Re: Two marginal(?) Situations. What\'s the \'best\' play?

1) call and hope for the other 2 to overcall. you need as many callers here as possible to build a pot and increase your winning chances. On the turn, I call if it's a heart or not since the...

Re: Flak test

with 3 left to act on the river, I'd probably just call and take the overcalls. Button may have raised one bet setting up a nice re-raise for value. Other than that, I like the way it was played.

Re: A-Q unimproved. Where\'d I mess up?

guess I better get used to the 2+2 attitude, but in my defense:

1) The results were in white, so no one needs read them. I felt that the option of seeing them would allow potential posters to...

A-Q unimproved. Where\'d I mess up?

I feel certain I played this wrong, but don't know exactly where I misstepped. Should I have taken the free card on the turn? Not raised the flop? Am I being bluffed often enough here to call the...

nines unimproved against aggression on a paired board

I'm still relatively new to poker and very new to 2/4, so be gentle. What should I have done in this hand? Raised the turn and folded to a reraise? Was calling down ok or should I have taken...

Re: a couple of hands I\'m a little shaky on

I was mainly concerned with the flop. I wasn't sure whether it would be appropriate to try a check raise to build a bigger pot for my draws, or whether it would be right to 3-bet it when it came...

Re: AK .... boring title... interesting hand (i think so anyway)

disclaimer: I'm still new to this site and this game, so my advice will be nowhere near as good as the others soon to respond to this thread.

Re: 77. Questionable flop 3-bet?

checking to him on the river is an invitation for many to bluff with nearly any two cards. Chances are he has unimproved overcards, a busted strait draw or a five. I'll not let him steal this pot...

Re: 77. Questionable flop 3-bet?

I agree that this was played well, but I'd definitely call this for one bet on the river if necessary. it's 13 BB, you probably have the best hand, and many people will bet with a very broad range...

MP2 turns over the 4th King and takes the megapot. It was an awfully painful hand, but I felt that the the EV with a hand like this and him not capping the 3-bet on the turn made it correct to cap...

Kings full of aces on the flop. How would you play it?

just curious what you guys thought of this play. The only reason for my call on the turn was to try and get more money out of the people remaining to act, but after it was raised after me, that went...

Re: Awful play, when should i have folded ?

OK, so I'm a newb to the board and to the game, and this is my first post, so don't take me too seriously. Here's my opinion.

Your play was fine until you were raised on the flop. I would have...
