[ QUOTE ]
I chose to cap because of the dead money of the VLP

[/ QUOTE ]

Re: Tough spot against a tough player

i think you have the action incorrect. tp did not limp reraise and our hero is inbetween the limper and tp.

Re: ATs UTG at a loose 15/30

there is no reason to reraise the turn. i think you played it well on every street.

some may advocate raising or folding preflop is warranted, but given the described nature of the table i think...

Re: Tough spot against a tough player

i would at least call the raise, but i don't think capping is 100% incorrect. you really want to flop a set and proceed from there, but if the flop isn't particularly friendly then play accordingly.

Re: 2pair 10/20 TStone

i'm inclined to think you should've raised your hand preflop. postflop the hand plays itself.

Re: turn raise against obvious overpair

if mp3 opened limped and you're next to act you probably should've considered raising with your hand.

other than that i like the way the hand was played.

Re: standards for: calling raises from the BB, completing in the SB

there is a gentleman that posts here, i think his name is tommy, that has the best scenario for blinds play. fold them all except the best of hands.

holdem is about position. use it, exploit it...

Re: Missed Limp-reraise w/AA, what\'s you flop line.

having not raised preflop this is certainly a time to test the strength of your hand relative to the board.

Re: 30/60 Bellagio hand, Exposed cards, Mucking AKs preflop.....

the most obvious mistake is folding your hand exposed.

Correction

i'm sure you meant KQo turned the nuts.

in regards to the way you played the hand i think you can bet the river and fold to a raise, but since you checked the call was fine.

Re: Quick Turn Checkup

hand #1: you should've capped the flop. if after capping the flop the bb felt compelled to lead the turn i would fold. however, since you just called i would raise the turn.

hand #2: given your...

Re: Mediocre hand in a semi-big pot

you could debate that calling is good if you knew the 6c was coming on the turn.

Re: Good Laydown or Poor Fold?

i try to avoid these types of decisions by raising preflop but since you didn't i think you made a poor fold. i wouldn't 3 bet then fold. i would take the call-call line. imo, he probably had A3 and...
