Re: AKo UTG - is this a standard line?
Appreciate the replies, helped put my mind at ease a bit.
Couple of followup questions: Would you call down or fold if villian capped, and led the turn? How about if I was C/R on the turn?

AKo UTG - is this a standard line?
This feels very "standard", but I've been having some troubles the last few days and want to make sure I'm not doing something wrong.
I just sat at the table a few hands ago, but I know from...

Re: Proper level and playing site for my bankroll?
Based on your posts, I don't think you should consider playing anything above $2/$4, just on a skill basis alone. $3/$6 and $5/$10 are filled with, on average, better players who would relieve you...

Re: Back-to-back Quads?
The interesting "twist" on this one was that the quads were identical (7777) to the previous hand. But unless I'm missing it completely, that would put the probability at 193323:1 against it...

Re: Back-to-back Quads?
Very true, very true. The first hand completing quads is the catalyst event, so the odds at that point are all revolving around the chance of hitting that *specific* quad hand. Still funky to think...

Back-to-back Quads?
Had an interesting situation occur in a recent tournament I was in, wondering what the odds were of it happening.
Got dealt pocket 7's, flopped a set, turned quads.
Very next hand: Get dealt...

Just played with you today, actually. You and the uber-fish at the table were going back and forth like crazy, it was kind of funny - but only because the uber-fish was playing right along with it. ...

I have to agree with Iceman on this one - I *religiously* pay my taxes (quarterly, etc.), and I'm fairly sure if I was in this situation (which I hope never to be), that I would just "ignore" this...

Re: Dumb tax questions.
I record both rakeback & bonuses as seperate "session" income. I don't mix it with session win/losses, as it is rare for me to run one single session and receive a bonus at the end of it... since it...

Good luck figuring it out - their website still lists the rake for $2/$4 as $1 taken out at $20, when it hasn't been that way for quite a few months
PokerRoom does way too much of this "stealth"...
