Re: ridiculing the fish
i'm a big fan of talking, especially when playing live, and being light-hearted.
keeps people relaxed, having fun.... you only need half a dozen funny lines to use over and over.

Re: $11: low M, high Q; Queens
if you're scared of your QQ getting beaten in this situation, perhap poker isn't for you.
all you can do is to play the cards you're given, and if your QQ happens to get outdrawn, so be it. ...

Re: 10+1 SnG
the best possible card comes for you on the turn, and you fold to an all-in bet.
given that, you might as well have folded on the turn and saved yourself 400 chips - what were you hoping to come?

Re: Strategie for low Sit\'n\'go (5+1$, 10+1$)
poker isn't supposed to be predictable. it's a gambling game, using randomly selected cards, with people making (sometimes seemingly) random decisions.
at low level buy-ins, it seems that players...

Social Justice
The problem when asking a question about "social justice" and "economic freedom" is that the question pre-supposes that society has a role to play in determing justice when it comes to economics.

Re: $11:TP and OESD vs Chip Leader
if he had something big, the 3 to the straight on the flop would've probably scared him into raising you, which suggests he doesn't have an overpair, making your top pair probably good.

Re: $11: <10xBB, 55
with two limpers and a raiser on 10+1, I can't imagine you getting all 3 to fold.
with 55 all-in, the best you can do is to be racing against two overcards, and you're a big dog to a bigger pair. ...

What are key heads up lessons?
I've just started playing 10+1s, after finally "getting it" (in terms of playing well) at the crazy easy 5+1s. At the 5+1s, I won about 86% of heads up, while at 10+1s, I win only 46% or there...
