Re: How many times have you laid down KK preflop?
Depends. Higher quality players at the table are more likely them when you raise 4x and someone reraises 4x that they got the AA. Happened to me 5 times(2/4NL, at lower limits no one ever showed me...

Re: A question on \"poker for profit\"
With 3G you should consider playing 1/2NL+....More likely 2/4 or even better 5/10NL. However, it depends on your style and whether you'll be playing scared money at higher limits. I can't udnerstand...

Re: What do you do when you hit a losing streak?
problem with this advice is that you don't realize when u are on a tilt....it might not be that obvious or u just don't bother to see the evident. Also depends on whether you would lose less money in...

Re: What do you do when you hit a losing streak?
This is probably one of the most sound advice I heard. Almost noone can play perfect after taking bad beat after bad beat because otherwise we'd have to be a computer. We might unconsciously even...

Re: 3/6 NL pocket aces
Whether you played you hand well depends on how good your read on the opponent was. Some players will call with A7s in big games hoping to hit flush and bust a guy with big hand. Because there was a...

I don't know about you but I have more than once turned 50 dollars into over a thosand, losing it all first time, and then buy in again and turning it to almost 2 grand. But unlike other players I...

Thanks everyone I appreciate all the comments. I think I have a hard time phrasing my point precisely and clearly. I was trying to say I took the amount of the bet, rather than a proportion to the BB...

Re: Mistake.......
I don't understand why u didn't check-raise instead. You got a pretty big hand but it's a ragged flop with a possibility of a straight draw. I would try to bet a little bit and try to get him to put...

Re: Folding KK preflop and Bankroll
The question on bankroll wans't whether I am afraid to lose what I bought in with. Lets say I have 20-100 buy ins. Whatever. What I am asking is it ever to fold to a probable all in situation for the...

Re: Folding KK preflop and Bankroll
So is the general concensus that I should never lay down KK, unless I am playing agaisnt a super tight player who I know 99% only does it with AA?

This is actually a great play I don't understand why some players are so set against it. There are dozens of reasons and Turnip pointed out a few good ones. I also like to use the play to disguise...

Re: 5-5 live hand
CJM, the reason simply put for having your all in on turn be a bad decision/move is because there are no draws as you said, so it's basically best made hand vs best made hand. So if that's the...
