Re: Beginner Question about tournaments

Re: Tournament Management Software for Macs?
I went to the Tournament Director web site, the only download option is .exe file and there was no mention of Mac compatibility, which I think they would be advertising if it was a cross platform...

Re: AQo on an ace high flop (50$ NL on Party).
I raise pre-flop to get the low aces and low pocket pairs out. Also to force the button to pay to keep position, although that didn't end up mattering here. I play any un-raised pot very carefully....

Re: single table sng

I have another problem that definetly fits in this thread.
When I search, it pulls up ALL recent posts from the selected forum, no matter if my search term appears in the post or not.

Re: What do you think of this strategy?
I think making the move in level 2, works for two reasons:
People don't like going out early
Stacks are still pretty even
Do you think a large raise of $1000 to $1500 would accomplish the same...

What do you think of this strategy?
I play a home game with 8-12 friends, $20 NLHE. When we started I was dead money, after months of study and online play I'm in the money consistently. I'm now recognized as probably the most...

Re: JJ-hand. First hand!
The initial raise was weak. I think that hand deserved a strong reraise.
Then you would probably be up against only one other player and you would have a better idea of what kind of hand they...

Villian playing JTs, KQ or JQ? Probably playing the JT and overbetting to scare everyone out, but plenty of outs if someone calls.
If they have a set I think he would slow play or make a standard...

I disagree. If I want to play serious cards, I go to a casino or fire up an internet room.
