Middle trips, HIGHLY co-ordinated board

Anything spectacularly wrong with this?

All-in guy is a complete muppet; BB is a competent but somewhat passive player. Is it wrong to raise this river? Surely it is weak not to?

Your thoughts....

Re: How do you play big pairs against a flush draw?

[ QUOTE ]
Fundamental theorem dude.

If he flips the 2 suits face up, even with the A, I'm capping every street unless the flush hits.

Every bet that you put in while he's drawing is +EV. ...

Advice on WTSD, W$SD

Having just moved up in limit from 5/10 to 10/20, I notice already after only a small number of hands in comparison to those I have played at 5/10 that there are many more loose players than at 5/10....

I was only speaking of the situation from where he left off. I wasn't trying to go back and explain the way I would have played it from the flop on. I would have bet into the flop also...

I would've led the flop.

That seems like madness.

Re: Help with analysis of stats

You gotta play more than 13 VPIP. 6 PFR is low as well. I can't comment on stealing, I only asked for advice on it myself a while ago, but 21 is lower than mine, and I was told mine was way too low....

Re: I know this is a micro hand but

[ QUOTE ]
Well you're getting 8 to 1 on the call assuming MP2 and CO don't go raise/re-raise in which case you are caught in a very bad situation. I doubt your hand is good now with the preflop...

Re: I know this is a micro hand but

What was the disagreement to the flop play? I would've led the flop.

Re: 77 UTG against a preflop raise flops a set on a flush board

[ QUOTE ]
C/r turn looks like an interesting option.

[/ QUOTE ]

It only looks interesting because he was not up against a flopped flush this time. You can't check-raise the turn if this guy...

Re: 77 UTG against a preflop raise flops a set on a flush board

I probably would've led the turn, called a raise and then led the river. It truly would suck hardcore to see AJ; I'm not sure what I would've done to a raise on the river. It's very hard not to 3-bet...

Re: KQ in EP

[ QUOTE ]
I like the flop call. But I'd just call the turn. You're not going to fold a bigger diamond, and you don't want to fold a worse pair. Then I'd raise that river and call a 3-bet. Given...

Re: Top set on flop, donk raise on river. 3bet?

[ QUOTE ]
I don't think you're ahead often enough when called to 3-bet.

If it's some desperate bluff raise, he won't call the 3-bet.

Re: Quack.

I'd probably hate getting this one checked through, looks like you're ahead, but I'll go with the others here and check/call.

Re: Quick W$SD question

I sort of understand what you're saying, but just to put some things into perspective my current W$SD is a tad over 56, and I've been told that is too high, meaning my WTSD is too low (around 31.5)....

Re: Suited connectors

Interesting post, although I think it just has to be sample size - after 100k hands in my database on 2 levels, I am well up on AKs, KQs, 98s, 87s, 76s, 65s and 54s yet down a sh*tload with QJs and...

Constructive critiscism required for my $5/10 stats

Ok, it's time to bite the bullet. Played $2/4 for a long time, and against the advice of my peers, skipped $3/6 and went straight to $5/10. Was told this was a very bad move, and that the $5/10 full...

Re: A particularly strange QQ hand

Understood chief - I just thought getting five people going to a capped flop is +EV regardless if UTG has KK or AA - I might be incorrect, please point this out if this is the case.

I think the...

A particularly strange QQ hand

UTG is an absolute rock and a half - 9/5/2.6
CO is 20/6/1.8, although I don't have much more than 100 hands on him, and at the time of this game he was coming up as 0.5 aggression.

My intention...
