Re: Festa al Lago....Gigabet is weak tight at heart.

Why are you overbetting the pot on the flop giga? That way you build a monster pot, but you are not willing to put all your chips in with top two, heads up. You must think about this before betting...

Re: Talk To Me About the Stop\'N\'Go

I am afraid, that this is not a good spot to apply the stop'n'go.

The Flop isn't a great one for you. When you go all in here, it screams :"i have no queen and no pair" so he is calling you with a...

Re: AK limp reraise

I think that the 5$ bet is pretty interesting. But you can just make it if you are sure you can outplay this guy. He said something about AA vs. KK and he is loosing.
Now that should be a point were...

Re: Resteal

You say he is a bit on the weak side. So this raise let him lay down everything he is not way ahead of you. So it's ok.
But if he stays in the hand, you must shut down. he has trips.

Re: fugly river

Nope.
he can be afraid of the flush with higher set.
and he can move behind you with 2 pair.

don't see a lot of other hands here.

Re: fugly river

NO, don't go all in on the river.

If he is just a player that understands the rules he has you beat here. the only possibilities are a flush/straight if he has the 9T/images/graemlins/club.gif,...

Re: KJ Hand

this looks like QJ to me. he value bets TP on the turn and then gets the second pair. but maybe he had trips and was building a pot there. for sure he has you dominated.

fold.

Re: nursing homes poker tournaments - get involved

Nice Idea.

But i think that poker is the wrong game, here. I teach some seniors to play chess and run some tournaments with them. I don't think that there is a better game to sharpen mental...

Re: 2/5 nl Aces out of the BB

If EV is the question lets try it simple.
You put him on medium to high pair.
if you push you make 80$ per bet.
if you smooth call and he bets every flop and you push: 16% that he made trips and...

AJ suited or off. UTG.

Hi,
just a general question for NL. What to do if you get AJs UTG. Assuming a 5/10 game with very good players and a tight mood.
1) you have 100 left
2) you have 500 left
3) you have 5000 on the...
