Re: My fish are at tables I can\'t get to
I was under the impression Empire and Party shared cash game tables? Is this not true?
I thought the only difference was the tournaments.
Does anyone know the facts about this?
I don't want...

Re: Good aggression, or hopeless chip-spew?
I guess this isn't that relevant but why play QJ offsuit in this position? I hate the pre-flop call so much. Your QJ is a loser in this multiway pot long term. What is the purpose of limping with it...

Re: KK vs blinds
Your crazy folding on the river with that big of a pot and probably having the best hand. I would have bet the turn and the river after your preflop raise and then called a raise by him on the river....

Limping With Small PP
I know according to SSH if you are at a relatively "tight" table 3-5 players per flop you should fold your small PP 66-22 in EP but call in EP if the table is "loose" 6-8 players per flop.
I play...

Re: QQ with a great flop, fold the turn??
I really appreciate that actually. I tend to think like this too much and it usually puts me on a mild tilt, especially against the bad player. I need totally forget about who it is or whether I got...

Re: QQ with a great flop, fold the turn??
Turns out that was the first of many stupid plays by him. He called about every hand after that, but unfortunately I couldn't get any playable hands, and then he left. Can't stand it when they leave...

Re: QQ with a great flop, fold the turn??
Ok well at least I played it right, but I lost the hand.
He showed down 10 4 offsuit, flopped the two pair, and my queens went into the muck /images/graemlins/mad.gif

Re: Playing with the 2nd nut flush
I think you played the hand well. Although as stated you should be thinking about raising the turn to knock out overcards, not the nut flush draw. If the nut flush draw is in the hand he is NOT...

Re: TT - Did I misplay anywhere here?
I like calling the flop then Raising the turn( really good card for you) and folding to a 3-bet on the turn. Maybe checking through on the river if your turn raise gets 2 callers or something...

Re: JJ faces a limp reraise from a good LAG
I would go for the raise on the turn. I don't think you can play your jacks this weak. Even with the pre-flop antics of the limper you can't give that much credit. This can backfire if you get...

Re: AA - 3456 board
Don't play much 1-2 but there is NO WAY I fold to a bet into me on that street. I call and call again if there is no check raising at the least. I probably raise when you are bet into on the turn and...

Re: Playing Big Hands when you miss the flop
I agree, I just hate heads up in a situation like this. If he check raised me on the turn I would feel much better about throwing it away. But on the flop it makes me want to call it down heads up.

Re: Playing Big Hands when you miss the flop
So you opt for a call on the flop and fold the turn with the QQ? Even if it is heads up?
How about this:
You raise with pocket 9's from middle position, everyone folds to the BB who calls.

Re: Playing Big Hands when you miss the flop
Thanks for the help. When you are talking about the dominated part, are you saying it is too risky to raise with the AK against 2 or 3 because you could be dominated by someone holding Ace rag if you...

Re: Second Pair Against 2 players
So say the board stays safe, turn rag, river rag, but you have still gotten two callers behind you on the turn? You bet again or check and call? Check and calling seems a lot worse to me.
I just...

Playing Big Hands when you miss the flop
Just wondering how you all would play this in a loose/passive online 3-6 game:
You raise three or four limpers w/ a hand like this and get this flop:
AK with a flop of 6 8 10
JJ or QQ with a...

Second Pair Against 2 players
I always seem to misplay or at least feel like I misplay a hand like this, it just seems like I am playing it wrong:
3-5 preflop callers in a 3-6 limit game.
Limp in middle position with 10 9s...
