Re: Computer not recognizing new RAM
Putzing around the internet, I think I found what the problem is. This new RAM module has chips on both sides and some motherboards (including mine, it would seem), only accept memory on one said....

Re: Computer not recognizing new RAM
Yeah, I guess that's really my question.... Is there any other reason it would be saying it was 128MB? I don't want to get into it with the guy on eBay if it's a problem on my end.

Computer not recognizing new RAM
I'm not much of a computer person, so I could easily be missing something obvious here....
I recently decided to add some RAM to my computer. I had two 128MB cards and no open slots, for 256MB...

Re: Turn - What thinkest thou?
Looks like a call. I'm not sure what hands we'd want to raise against. Neither would fold an A or call with anything less*. Folding seems silly as we have a very good shot at splitting this pot...

Re: missing value bets?
I think in the first hand you should raise. The 2 potentially counterfeits a bunch of the hands that beat you and he's more likely to pay off with an 8/J than have a 2.
Second hand you have to...

As others have said, the lack of the PFR here makes the hand play totally differently. I don't think the pot size matters all that much since it's big enough to continue either way, but the chance...

Re: party 3/6 facing tough turn raise
Hmm, villain's play doesn't seem consistent with too many hands. Based on his PFR, I think AQ and 99 are unlikely. Based on his VPIP, I think 33 is unlikely. All other 2-pair/set hands are...

Re: Tale of Two Rivers
In hand 1, I'd just fold the river. There's a lot that MP3 could have that beats you and he'd need to have the split a lot to make a call worthwhile. That being said, if I wanted to play on, I'd...

Re: extracting the max. or FPS?
Flop looks good. I don't like the turn. Your check-raise of the flop means a made hand on this drawless board. The A is more likely to hurt you than help you, so bet out, hoping to get raised (by...

Re: Please dissect this drawing hand
I also like a flop raise here. We've got about 10 outs here, making this enough for a value bet. It also potentially give us the option of taking a free card.
The turn check-raise, river check...

Re: AKo misplayed on every street
Looks fine to me. His numbers are somewhat Laggy, but he doesn't have a ridiculous PFR%, so the three-bet probably means something. Let's say 99+, AJs+, AQo+. You're probably ahead after the flop,...

Re: A4s TP OOP
A raise on the turn from a guy with a 0.14 aggression factor is a big hand. He's going to be scared about that flush if he doesn't have it. I'd be pleasantly surprised to see 2-pair from him here...

Fold the flop.
Pre-flop 3-bet probably means 99/TT+, AK, AQs.
