Re: PP 3/6: KQo top two capped turn, scary river

He probably showed you AT but there's no way you can fold this hand for just one bet.

Re: So, Absolute Poker closed down 2,000 accounts last night

Mine hasn't been 48 hrs yet, so I'll refrain from calling till at least that much time has passed. Hopefully, my cashout will arrive at about the same time MrG's does.

Re: So, Absolute Poker closed down 2,000 accounts last night

Another person here who's waiting on a 1k+ cashout. But unlike some of you, I only initiated my cashout on the 21st, but still it shouldn't be taking this long. Did anyone else have any luck getting...

Re: I hated throwing this one away...

The flop bet wasn't horrible, but you should've led out on the turn instead of checking. MP1 could easily be raising the BB with a K, lower kicker. Not to mention if you get raised on the turn, you...

Re: Party 2/4: Easy fold with middle set?

Woops, forgot the reads. Hadn't seen much of MP1, but from what I had seen, he was pretty solid. Had only seen him showdown a couple hands, mostly TPTK type affairs. SB is a super LAG.

Re: Party 5/10 6-m - How to extract most money on river?

I'm not understanding the logic for betting the flop. It seems as if the CO would raise regardless of what he has and then I'd have to pay two sb on the flop to draw. I know that I'd definitely raise...

Re: KJs - Easy call against loose fish?

The PF call can probably be argued either way. I was hoping to keep the discussion more focused on the river action. Anyone else have thoughts?

Re: Unlucky or Misplay

Is AQo really that likely a hand? How often an occurrence is a flat-call with AQo behind a limper and a raiser (with a good image I'm assuming) in the PS 5/10? Made flush and sets are both likely...

Re: PP 10/20: Bad lay down?

I've gotta disagree with Jeffage. If the button turned the nut flush, it would be more profitable for him to overcall than raise the turn considering his relative position to the bettor. If the...

Re: I think I got added to someone\'s buddy list

Against JT, he's a 47:53 dog with Ad9d. He has more than enough folding equity for an all-in play in that spot to be acceptable.

Ah, OK. I'm assuming the hands he posted gain most of their +EV only when he's in the CO or button or whenever else he's in relative position?

Re: Terrible call on the turn? and question about pot odds

I can certainly agree if he happened to flop a gutshot +
flushdraw. Is cr'ing the flop still +EV with his hand?

Checkraising the flop in this example is clearly a +EV play.

Re: Hand Against Bicyclekick

Schneids, my shorthanded game still sucks pretty bad comparatively. Can you explain to me how you get such good short-handed value out of hands that usually play well in volume pots?
