Re: JJ with Two Over Cards on the Flop
Don't I have enough outs here to justify calling the C/R and seeing how I like the Turn? As I look at how I played the hand, I think that folding to the C/R was a mistake. The pot was relatively...

Re: JJ with Two Over Cards on the Flop
Thanks for the replies. The BB raised me and I folded, which was not good. In my defense, a few hands before this, I had my KK cracked by AQ when 2 Aces fell on the flop and I called him down after...

JJ with Two Over Cards on the Flop
Guys:
I'm trying to find my way in 1/2 and I'm a bit lost here. What's my best move? I have no read on the BB. I think it was his first hand.

Installing a Kitchen Sink Basket Strainer
Guys:
My basket strainer began leaking recently because the guy I had install it decided not to use rubber gaskets. I re-installed it with the right gaskets, but it continues to leak a little,...

Re: Is Party 0.50/$1 really all that loose?
I use the tight table sheet as well. Miller was writing for Small Stakes B&M tables, which are much looser than online tables (at least that's what I've heard). I also play around 7 am CT, and I...

Re: Question for Illini fans
Historically, Illinois has played very good defense. The physical nature of the Big Ten requires good defensive play. You can't win at Wisconsin and at MSU without it.
That being said, you are...

Re: AT in SB
Thanks for the input everybody. When I was looking at the hand history, my call on the flop just bothered me. I didn't see how it helped me win the hand. 3-betting him would have probably helped a...

Re: A10s UTG
Granted, the J is not squeaky clean, but I think that even if slightly dirty, his outs warrant a bet.

Re: A10s UTG
On the flop, you have a lot of outs, so I like the bet. Once you hit TP on the turn, you have to bet it until you meet resistance. Well played.

Guys:
I felt a bit lost in this hand, especially the flop. It was my second hand at this table, so I had no reads. Any comments?

Re: Books for 5/6 player games
Guys:
Just wondering - do you interpret this as saying that you should raise instead of limp when you are UTG with something like JTs?
Thanks,

Re: Flopped top set - so why didn\'t I ever bet?
I think a 3 bet on the flop may be a good idea. You are probably in front, and you'll be able to see how much your opponents really like their hands.
You said that the table was semi-aggy. Was...

Re: To bluff or not to bluff
Although I have no specific data, my high card ends up being good in these multi-way situations less than 5% of the time. Betting this river given the size of the pot is not a good idea.
