Re: simple QQ hand

[ QUOTE ]
1. I usually bet around $20ish.
5. If the flush comes, I usually block.

[/ QUOTE ]

You bet $20, CO Calls.

The pot is now $68.

Re: stat check 10/20 6 max

Limping 29-20=9% seems pretty high.

Yeah, that's true. That makes sense.

Re: Quick stupid pf

It's easier to win a pot vs fewer opponents.

Re: Quick stupid pf

If I'm going to play this marginal hand here, I'd rather bump it than limp behind.

Edit: I guess given the very loose sb, a raise may not be as valuable in this spot as more players may jump in.

Re: Quick stupid pf

Can you elaborate on how that would affect your pf decision here?

Re: Defending with cheese.

Yeah, I know it doesn't consider the range of hands that could be raised with that you're up against.. and hence why there's a good argument for folding a hand like K9o here.

That would be my choice as well.

Re: Defending with cheese.

If you're calling with 76o, you might as well defend with any two.

Re: Quick stupid pf

Isn't this a clear raise or fold. Limping here seems awful.

Re: KK pre-flop against $100 re-raise

1 vs AA we're ~20%
2 vs AK we're ~70%
3 vs an underpair we're ~80%
4 vs a bluff we're ~75%

estimate chance of holdings: (this is the tough part)
1 - 40% (this might be generous)
2 - 20%...

Re: Anyone else in the party WSOP 300 Sat?

Yes, you're absolutely correct. To be honest, I wouldn't have been upset with the bubble. $6k was fine by me, though I would have hated to have come so close...

I played that hand horribly;...

88 no good?

I'm wondering if anyone can suggest a better line on this hand given this poor position. The board is perfect for a bluff on the river which left me with a tough call. I nearly called because it...

Re: Calling min. re-raise w/ A K out of pos.

Bet bet bet. I can't imagine folding this hand on any street. I might opt for the check-raise on the flop, but the line you've chosen is fine as long as you keep betting; I'm not a fan of check...

Re: 1/2 Live NL KK, Ace on Flop

Bet the flop: 2/3 to pot sized bet.

If you check the flop, you're done with the hand.

Re: KK - A on flop

Well, for one I make a bigger raise (usually I follow pretty strictly the 4XBB + 1XBB/limper rule so that would mean 10 here.)

Re: Paradise 25$ NL hand

[ QUOTE ]
Maybe it is table selection. I do data mine for at least 30 hands before I sit and won't sit at a table without at least 2 people seeing over 60% of flops. I also like to have at least...

KK - A on flop

The table was fairly tight, so I was surprised to get 3 callers on my raise.

I'm not sure what the best line is here. In retrospect, I don't like how I played this hand at all. 4 players see the...
