Re: Wynn 15/30-- A3o Blind Defense
I don't really like the flop bet on this board. I doubt he's going to believe it, and you may get played back at.
A board of K84 would be a much better board to bet at in this situation.
I'm...

All these bets and raise form a dialogue and her 4th bet certainly shouts out 33 or 55 more than J5 or J3 (which BTW are hands with which she may have raised you on the flop with and she...

I like a raise here. I put him on AT/KT/QT/JT or middle-strength PP's like 55-77.

I've been considering waiting until the river to raise here.

Re: Meh
I don't really like the river raise. You might get a call from KK, but you're usually getting 3-bet by a better ace here.

Re: Well...
Magnificant.
MP2 would have made it 3-bet pf with just about anything that beats you. The only hands I'd be worried about from him or the other tight player wouuld be ATs, but that's unlikely.

Thanks for the replies guys.
Before I posted this, one player suggested I bet the turn in an effort to get BB to raise and clear up low spade draws. One problem I see with this is that usually...

Re: Pretty Standard I Guess
It's true that when you miss the turn, your hand may become somewhat transparent when you check. However, someone may also be worried that you're going for another c/r, and the turn may get checked...

Re: Failed screw play
This is a good play vs good players.
Since we will occassionally check the turn OOP with nothing, we have to occassionally check/raise it with a strong hand too. This way, our observant opponents...

I'd bet.
2 of your heart outs will give you a lot more action on the river if you bet.

Re: QQ HU on AKx flop
Because I am often walking into a check/raise on the turn. If I bet the turn, I may forfeit the chance to get to see a river card and draw out.

Re: I started doing this lately...
I think it's ok.
Assuming your outs are clean, you're a bit less than a 3:1 underdog to hit your hand on the river. You're getting 4:1 on your money by raising the flop.
Edit: I don't really...

Raising the turn is not really believable. We checked the flop and now the 4 comes off. That couldn't have helped our hand. Villian may call and lead a blank river, thinking we have overcards/a...
