Re: Which game to play against aliens?
Since the very survival of the entire human race is at stake here, it would have to be game with a very small skill factor. We would have to assume that these aliens are way smarter than us, and...

Re: I made fresh pasta today (trip report)
Sounds like you didn't get your dough thin enough if it was the size of french fries after cooking. Without the use of a pasta machine, I belive making spaghetti(sp?) noodles is the easiest thing to...

Re: Groceries and cooking
Really easy pot-roast:
Requires crock pot or slow cooker (are these the same thing?)
Ingredients:
Cheap slab of beef (I usually buy a two-pounder)
Can Cream of Celery soup
Can Cream of...

Re: Loose Omaha Limit Games
Sounds like you already have a pretty good strategy, but I would loosen up your starting requirements. In a good loose game like you describe, you should be playing about 30% of your starting hands....

One bet I would probably call down, but I don't think the pot is big enough to call a 2 bet cold.

Re: [2/4] KK vs. unknowns, AAX flops
[ QUOTE ]
"Lots of hands"? This board sucks. Most of the hands that hit it at all are c/ring me off my boat draw on the flop, else they wait until the turn and do it.

Well by the river it seems you obviouly have the BB beat, and the CO seems to be drawing because he hasn't done anything but call, and usually people who slowplay sets or straights raise...

Re: First Hand Post....AKo utg+1
During the hand I thought that on this well coordinated board, it was highly likely that I was behind two pair at the best, and a straight at worst. After the hand I thought that a turn raise would...
