Re: Jews Play Cards on Christmas

Re: Does preflop even matter at all??
this is soooo easy to resolve.
Two options:
1. Post your PP ID (to allow people to objectively analyze your play) and change it immediately (so you can continue to be anonymous on PP)
or
2....

When to move from 1/2 to 3/6?
Since the 3/6 game is still relatively new, I don't think I've seen any posts suggesting appropriate metrics to know when you're ready to move up from 1/2 6-max to 3/6 6-max.
I ask this question...

Re: When should i slow down?
I think my default would have been to call down from turn forward if I hadn't seen UTG play an overpair exactly like this with a 3 flush on the board.
So are you saying just call the turn bet or...

When should i slow down?
I'm in the first few weeks of a transition to SH and am still getting a handle on my aggression (both pre and post flop).
This table has been crazy aggressive. People have been showing down middle...

Re: Your Top Tips for a 6-Max Newbie
A couple of related question for someone also testing the waters on 6 max.
Are there any "classic" posts that I should be reading? A FAQ?
And what is the best way to handle PT when you play...

Good place to ask this question would be the Books/Publications forum.
A REALLY good place to find the definitive answer to this question....

Re: Fast or slow - flopped boat
Although I might have bet this flop, this is a perfect hand for slowplaying, I would think. You've got a monster hand, and there are some draws to 2nd best out there (straights, flushes, sets, and...

I'm starting to learn to actually use GT+ and all the great stats in poker tracker. Here's an example where I definitely altered my play based on the PT reads.

Re: flopped set, coordinated board
The raiser had Kd Qc for the straight. Given the generally loose passive nature of this table, he might have even had implied odds (pot was 11BB when he called) to call if the board weren't so...

I believe my play here was pretty standard. I'm comfortable with PF, thought about...

He could have a big hand...but he could...
