Re: New Trophy
I always chuckle when Vince or Mike tell us that they aren't concerned with the money, just the prestige of winning (and, of course, the free pass to the 25K championship, where they can win millions...

Re: Pokerroom MTT\'s
I agree. I have made a good number of final tables, winning once, second once, and a bunch of 4ths and 5ths. 25% is not unreasonable. As I do not seem to do as well anywhere else, it must be...

Re: First hand of tourney with QQ, easy fold here?
Assuming that this a another ever-so-wacky Party $10+1, my perverse sense of humor tells me to push all-in rather than fold. You know one of them has a pair, one has AK suited, and if you get drawn...

Re: All in with 22 UTG
You have to push, but you know you are never going to be better than 50/50. Cringe and hope.

Re: AKo first hand $20 + 2
It does seem odd that there are 40+ posts about watching jennicide and none about an actual hand. Not to mention the ubiquitous "Hey, watch me play in this tournament" threads.
My two cents:...

Re: top pair.
No. It isn't. PF Raiser and cold calling BB bet and raise in front of you?

Re: OK, let\'s talk about wmajik\'s article
I see your point about not spoon feeding, but it only took me 13 seconds to get the article once I finished reading your post! Survival of the fittest, I say /images/graemlins/smirk.gif On to the...

Re: Stealing a TAG\'s blind
Since the BB is playing his A /images/graemlins/spade.gifx /images/graemlins/spade.gif and missed his draw, it is unlikely that a bet is going to get you anywhere. Take it down.

Re: Pushing happy Larrys too hard?
This sequence is perfectly reasonable for someone as described to play when holding QTo, or even T7. The flop raise was good, the call from BB suggests a Q with a soso kicker at most. I don't think...

Re: AKo gamble early in $10+1
When you have double everyone else early in a SnG, I think you are better off limping with everything to see the flop. The table becomes intimidated that you are bullying "quietly" and they tend to...

Re: 88
I agree with a flop 3-bet. SB either flopped the straight, a lower set or is pushing a 4 flush. Plenty of outs if you are behind (I think you are), good value if you are ahead.
