Re: I raise for a free SD
On the turn, when you tried the turn raise, I put him on A8/A6,66-22. I don't think he'd C/R into two opponenets without a made hand. I don't see you folding a better hand here (and most worse...

Re: Vulnerable hand in multiway pot...
Like you said, pump the flop with your boat draw. Maybe you're lucky and a few of them have a good heart draw, so they could be drawing totally dead and just putting more money in your pocket (or...

Re: AKs UI, is this a standard line?
When I raise that flop, its usually to get a free look at the river, so I'll usually check behind on the turn. HU I don't think a bet is terrible if you think he'll lay it down, but minus a read,...

Re: 3/6 6 hand reading vs a TAGish player
I'd guess hero has A8s or 99/66. I'd assume hero would cap TT+ and AK, and no other hand is probably calling the river bet. I'd say villain could really have a lot here (99+, KQ+.) I'd put the...

Re: KK Looks Good, But Everybody Loves The Flop
Your only real option here it to call in my opinion. Pot is too big to fold an overpair and there is a good chance you'll get 3-bet by raising. Hopefully SB is pushing a flush draw or two pair.

We need to be right > 15% of the time or so? Vs complete unknowns I have been folding this, as my default label for a player is loose passive and passive players don't raise the turn on a bluff. ...

Re: Nut straight on monochrome flop
I thought Ed Miller had a post where we wait to raise AA on a monotone flop until a blank falls on the turn, else we can get out easily. This was against a lot of players with players left to act. ...

Re: Maximizing profit in Stars .25/.50
SSH will suit you fine for your limit. You may have trouble applying the "protecting marginal hands" concepts in the sense that when you raise middle pair in a large pot, few will probably fold.

Re: Review: Hand 0009, 96o
Are you saying hero should bet his GS here? I'm confused b/c at first you say you have found a systematic leak, but later you say "not in this hand." As my two cents, I'm not sure I would bet my 9...

The Miracle Flop
When should you call with any two cards hoping to catch the miracle flop (two pair or better.) I'm not positive what the odds are, but it's 2% to flop two pair, 1.35% to flop trips, and very teeny %...

Re: Turn play question
Pots small, your hand sucks, good fold.
I probably would have checked the flop and raised/called a bet from late position seeing as the board is reasonably draw heavy. You really don't want to go...

Re: Q8s in SB 1/2 6 max play along
Bets, 4 handed top pair should be good enough. I wouldn't C/R b/c I don't even know if someone will bet since the pot wasn't raised preflop.

Re: The right CALL?
I agree. You have an OC, and a couple weak backdoor straight draws to go w/ your nut flush draw. You're easily winning more than 20% of the time here.
