Results
The results of this are fairly insignificant. I thought for about 30 seconds on the flop and then called. He was a half way decent player and I didn't want to raise and scare him from making a turn...

Re: Live Poker
point taken. That being said, how many of you would take this line online without having the person sitting in front of you? I think it really does make a huge difference.

Re: Live Poker
I guess knowing thy opponent is key. I think it comes down to respect. There is a lot more respect for other people's play live. Online there is none. I think you have to be able to look at someone...

Re: Live Poker
So there were no limpers in between. But you still couldn't automatically put him on a higher set. I am just curious why you didn't bet somewhere before the river to try to glean some kind of...

Re: Live Poker
Ok the clown will speak up. Actually I play a mixture of live and online. I play at Commerce at least 2 days a week. That being said, you still lost too little money. I do not think you necessarily...

Re: Live Poker
You played this hand absolutely horribly. You should have lost a lot more money than you did.

Re: Limit Raising Question Ruling
The dealer was correct. If player A would have verbally declared the raise before crossing the line, he could then go back and retrieve the extra chip. However, with no verbal indication, once his...

Re: would you value bet this river?
That makes sense. I guess I just thought my raise should have priced out his draw. That was why I thought a set.
It turned out he had A 10 and MHIG. I thought about it after the hand and I thought...

Re: Top 2 pair question
I guess maybe a better question is with the BB smooth calling CO's raise, should I even be putting in such a large reraise to begin with?
I don't have a problem with the way I played the hand, I...

Top 2 pair question
Fairly early on at the table. No real reads on anyone.
Party .25/.50
Hero is MP1 with AQ of diamonds with $53 behind
Villain 1 is BB $60
Villain 2 is CO with $29
I call preflop, folded to...

Re: Hit trips on turn! Folded trips on turn :(
Horrible fold. Let me see if I have this straight. There is 4.50 in the pot. $2 bet, raise to $6 means it is now $6 to you to win 12.50, even if you didn't hit the river. So you only need to be ahead...

Re: NL 5/10...Folding Set And It\'s Not Close
I don't see how this isn't even close to a call. Villain makes a massive overbet. Without getting into a discussion again on overbets, it smells to me like AA or KK. He knows you are solid, but he...
