Re: Flopped boat - knew I was beat on turn
This was a 1 BB mistake on my part...
Correct line:
Preflop: Capping or not is debatable.
Flop: bet, cap if possible.
Turn: bet, call
River: check, call
Thanks for the input.

Flopped boat - knew I was beat on turn
ROCK is, well, your typical 1/2 15%VPIP, 5% PFR rock.
Anytime I see a 3 bet on the 1/2 games, I immediately go on the defensive with the rocks, they are usually showing you AA or KK at showdown. ...

Re: Leak with AJo and A10o
AJo - Fold in EP, raise in MP on back. Muck to a raise from all positions except BB.
ATo - Call unraised - button and SB. Muck otherwise.

Re: The correct use of odds!
Raise that flop. You will get plenty of action for correct implied odds. If you don't hit on the turn, then recalculate your odds again. It's a dynamic thing.. If there are enough seeing the...

Re: 98o - BB hand.
Based on what you posted...boring. I don't see what responses you could expect about the hand. Pre-flop play is boring, flop bet is ok, especially with back door straight possibilities. Turn is...

Re: AA Between a Rock and a Maniac
I check-call the river.
You say that BB is a rock, yet he is calling 2 bets preflop with action still behind him. He check-calls the flop. Then he cold calls two bets on the turn. I'd say the...

Re: Evaluate this hand, please.
I agree with the play on all streets if the opps were known to have loose raising requirements. That has to be one of the worst 5 handed beats I've seen. The trip 9's weren't even second best. ...

Re: Best place for .10/.20
John, he's talking about 10 cent/20 cent games. Poker Stars even offers 1 cent/2 cent limit games (.01/.02).
Pacific Poker has VERY loose .10/.20 games. Usually 65-75% of the players see the...
