Re: Wrong Time, Wrong Place Mr. Ace of Hearts,
it sure looks like he's calling you down after that flop raise. he calls the turn when the heart hits. looks like he has a pair or maybe ace high on the flop/turn also possibly a heart.
i think...

Re: Hand against Sporky
i'm not so sure about the turn raise, but my thoughts were that i hate you and you'd donk with a lot of stuff and a good bit of it i would beat so i raised.
if you donk the river i'd probably fold...

Re: i dont know what im doing, do you?
i'd expect to see something like J9 here. he called the flop raise so it looks like he has something and i'm assuming more than just a bare queen or jack since he ends up betting the river. he...

Re: Preflop questions
he was a peeler, loose and passive. i felt like i was never going to know where i was in the hand. so i'd just bet bet bet and hope he didn't have anything or never hit. i just decided to fold not...

Re: What am I doing here, help me.
i assume by sb you mean Button?
i think i bail on the turn also. my sub par hand reading leads me to believe that the bb called the 3 bet on the flop w/ a plan to lead the turn to a non spade and...

Re: 3/6 6m J9s
good question. i would think you'd want to bet to try and fold out a king or a jack, but he's super passive and might have a piece of this. i can't imagine someone not raising/donking you though if...

Re: KQs pre flop cap?
[ QUOTE ]
I ran a Pokerstove analysis against various ranges and my conclusion is that it is -EV. It seems that when you are second best you are down with the fish EV stats. I used to do this too. ...

I've actually had questions about this too. Most of the time I KNOW one or two other idiots are coming along the ride for the cap, but I really dont think I'm ahead of the 3 better. I will...

Re: KQs pre flop cap?

You've got a tighter TAG cold calling your UTG raise and a Loose player who doesn't raise enough preflop 3betting you...you're ahead of...nothing.
Better just to call, KQs doesn't have...

CO is a TAG and 21/11/2+
BB is pretty loose pre flop and i haven't seen much from him

Re: Er, uh, checkraise?
i think i'm capping the flop here pretty much 100%, if they want to draw they will and if they have a queen i doubt they fold.
if you don't want to cap the flop, wouldn't you want the A...

Re: TP vs. a TAG
i usually pop the turn here. i don't mind taking down the 6 BB pot right then if he folds and i'd like him to pay an extra bet if he wants to see another card.
if the guy will continue to fire...

I think you could consider a check/call on the river against this opponent as it sounds like he'll bet anything he'd call with in addition to bluffing missed draws.

Re: 10/20: What the hell is this?! Part 2
what about a raise on this turn? if you think you're ahead on the flop, could you not possibly get him to fold a 7, a 10, overs, and extract more from a draw? or is this a spew?
