A few 4th places...am I being too aggressive too early?

I think I basically just got impatient and went in too early on these three last night...it's easy to tell myself that the callers just happened to get aq/a8/aq when i pushed, so i just got unlucky and the other 85% of the time they don't get a top 15% hand, they woulda folded and i woulda stolen the blinds, but looking back at it, i think that, at least in hands 1/2, i was getting called no matter what, so i shoulda had a better hand since not much FE

thoughts?

1) I'd fold.
2) Fine
3) Maginal. I'm ok with both push/fold depending on opponents. Since you have 10xBB I would be more inclined to fold than push though.

If the blinds were higher I think I'd push all of them.

If the BB was $100, this was an $6-$22 and I'm reading the botched (not your fault) hand conversion correctly ...

Hand #1 fold. Something better will come.

Hand #2 limp and hope to see a flop - though with AQ in the BB, he's probably gonna raise and you will have to fold. Besides, the other short stack will be in the BB next hand.

Hand #3 I probably push too.

In general, being that short stacked you got a big fat target painted on you and will often be called just to take a shot at busting you out. This means your going to either need a better hand, or you need to pull a stop-and-go. The stop-and-go is what I would want for hand #2.

Hand two is a clear push. Folding is better than limping though.

I saw your response and was thinking about hand #2. Since the poster didn't specify the buyin, I stated the lower range (where I play) and in those SnG's, I still think this is a place to try a stop-and-go as the players tend to be more passive.
