Break-even stretch

So I'm hoping you stats guys can riddle me this...

What is the probability of a 3BB/100, a 2BB/100, and a 1BB/100 winner having a break-even stretch lasting 20K hands? I know it has happened to some winning players, although I'm still alittle uncomfortable with it.

Re: Break-even stretch

This can't be answered unless you give a standard deviation along with the win rate.

I don't know where to find this in PT, but lets assume 19BB/100.

Re: Break-even stretch

3BB/100 - 1.28%
2BB/100 - 6.83%
1BB/100 - 22.83%

Those are the cumulative numbers - they include playing worse than break even over 20K hands.

Thanks. Time for me to do some serious odds-defying, then.
