Default Capping the betting online

Hasn't there been enough time for all of the sites to have updated their software to lift the betting cap once the pot becomes headsup?

I suspect they are not interested in doing so.

Sorry if this topic has come up before, but I've never seen it.

I know that it's costing some of us money.

I don't think it is costing you as much money as you think. I think a lot of rivers get capped just cuz. Crazies would 4 bet a lot less if they could get 5 bet.

I believe Intercasino allows for this feature. I agree other sites probably are not interested, just lets bad players lose their money more quickly.

i think you're nuts if you think it's costing you money. all this would do is break bad players quicker, and PROBABLY not break them to you. it's a terrible idea.

Bad players are gonna bust anyway.

I'm thinking about our favorite LAG of the moment (who has been beating the game for a week or two, but who is currently tilting). When some of these guys get sideways, they'll ram HARD on the turn and river headsup with debatable holdings.

Just a thought. Probably not worth much, but there it is anyway.

i would much rather win a smaller amount of money from them than allow somebody else (there are many more of them than there are of me) to get all of it

I spose you're prolly right. Ultimately, the fish have to get gutted and relatively evenly distributed for the health of the game.

This is why I never liked no-limit. You sit at a table, watch some idiot push in with crap and lose, and by the time you know how a big a fish he is his money is already in a better player's stack and hes left the table.

how come nobody has mentioned chip dumping yet? This is the reason that the betting is capped and that it is impossible for that to ever be removed.
