Default Commerce Trip Report

Lost a little at limit, won a little at no-limit.

The food at Commerce sucks so bad it's hard to believe.

I only watched briefly, but his opponents sure seemed terrified of snakehead.

Sooga owns Clark.

Glenn owns Josh.

Gabe owns everyone.

Ed may be an NPA, but he really should have 3-bet the flop.

The guy was playing there. You know the guy. That guy. You know, the guy. The guy, he play the Spider!

James Woods does not take well to being three-bet on the turn by a worse hand, then getting rivered. Especially by a guy like JA Sucker, who rates to be a guy that knows the odds.

Jack Black, 10-20 NL. BTW, you guys watch Celebrity Poker? OK.

mike l. likes girly-drinks, but they sure are tasty.

By now, Sucker should know better than to raise me.

It sucks to be tired but not able to sleep.

More later.

While it takes VERY LITTLE to own me, I don't think Glenn can lay claim to that yet.

glen, on the other hand, has title and deed in hand.

Josh (also, more later)

Did the game suck, or did you?

Hey, a comeback was possible. I was stuck $500 before I managed to get my last $100 rebuy back up so that I ended up a small winner. You gave up too soon!

In outline form:

The guy was indeed the spider.

The "food" at the Commerce is no goot.

My girlfriend loves Jack Black.

Gabe, Mike l. and Josh are great folks.

Gabe plays goot!

Ed should have 3 bet.

Clark's hat is the reason why he wins. I'm convinced of this now. I will get this hat.

The following conversation took place at the cage after our little private game:

Clark: How much did you lose?

Sucker: I don't know. It depends on how many times I bought in. I think that I lost 12 bucks, but it could be 112, or even 212.

Clark: It had to be at LEAST 112.

Sucker: I dunno.

(It was later determined that it was 12 bucks).

Commerce's small stud games suck due to their drop.

Snakehead is my hero.

I have learned my lesson, El Diablo.

El Diablo needs to stop snoring.

I do indeed rate to be the kind of guy who knows the odds.

I played more interesting hands of poker in one weekend at Commerce than I've played in a month of online poker. I hope I can remember some of them to post.

As always, it was awesome to see you. I'm just sad we didn't get to spend more time playing at the same table.
