WPT on swedish channel 5 tonite

I just saw in the paper that WPT episode 1 of 14 airs tonite (sunday) in Sweden on channel 5 at 23:55 - 01:30. I sure hope it's the latest season but maybe its the first season. We'll see...

does all of sweden have the same cable channels?

There are 5 swedish channels which most swedes have (channel 1 - 5). Then there's alot of other european channels and some swedish channels which people may or may not have.

It seems as the broadcast is the first season. The swedish subtitels blocks information about what cards the players have so it's a bit difficult to follow. I wish they would have swedish commentators or just skip the swedish subtitels.

Channel 1 and 2 are sponsored by the state. Channels 3 to 5 are run by different companies.

It's like our network channels here in the states. Everyone gets their basic local channels.

Hmm they showed the Champions of champions erlier this year, I guess to see if it was something for sweden.
then they said before the program that they wouldn't have subtitles becaus it would interfere with the graphics.

the strange thing was that when mike or vince said something like "On the button" and the slider comes in from the right explaining what on the button means, the slider was empty!!!

have they fixed that?

I watched it a couple of days ago. They've removed the subtitles now [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
