Default AJ hand for review

Table is average for this limit. Could I have played this any differently?

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. MP2 posts a blind of $2.
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 (poster) checks, MP3 calls, CO folds, Button folds, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: (4 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, MP2 checks, MP3 checks.

Should I bet out here instead of checking?

Turn: (2 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero bets, BB folds, MP2 folds, MP3 calls.

I bet out here to avoid giving a free card any heart draw, straight draw or any king

River: (4 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, MP3 calls.

Final Pot: 6 BB

Results in white below:
Hero shows Ad Jc (full house, queens full of jacks).
MP3 shows 8h 8d (full house, queens full of eights).
Outcome: Hero wins 6 BB.

0. (flop)Should I bet out here instead of checking?

Betting out here should be almost automatic, though if MP3 were aggressive, check-raising would also be a reasonable option.

(turn)I bet out here to avoid giving a free card any heart draw, straight draw or any king

True you don't want a K to get a free card here, but you'd sure like a flush or straight to make their hand.
