Default KK...3 bet the turn?...Raise the river? Or neither?

Do you guys think I played this too timid or what? Fairly unknown opponent. When he check-raised the turn I thought QJ, which led me to believe the river saved me. I'd be interested to know how others would have played this.

Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG raises, MP folds, Hero 3-bets, SB folds, BB folds, UTG calls.

Flop: (7.50 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets, UTG calls.

Turn: (4.75 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets, UTG raises, Hero calls.

River: (8.75 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG bets, Hero raises, UTG calls.

Final Pot: 12.75 BB
Main Pot: 12.75 BB, between UTG and Hero. > Pot won by Hero (12.75 BB).

Results in white below:
UTG shows Qs Ac (two pair, queens and twos).
Hero shows Kd Kc (two pair, kings and twos).
Outcome: Hero wins 12.75 BB.
