Default Chekking it down

Paradise Poker 40/80 Hold'em (8 handed), SB is a LAG and BB comes close, he's particularly fond of stealing in late position and thus prone to thinking that others act the same way.

Preflop: Rigoletto is Button with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, CO folds, Rigoletto raises, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (6 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Rigoletto bets, SB calls, BB raises, Rigoletto 3-bets, SB folds, BB calls.

Turn: (6.50 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Rigoletto checks.

River: (6.50 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Rigoletto checks.

Final Pot: 6.50 BB
Main Pot: 6.50 BB, between Rigoletto and BB. > Pot won by Rigoletto (6.50 BB).

Results in white below:
BB shows Ts Kd (one pair, tens).
Rigoletto shows Th As (one pair, tens).
Outcome: Rigoletto wins 6.50 BB.

i would have bet the turn unless the check will elicit a bluff nearly all the time on the river. based on his profile, you do not have enough reason to believe your hand is not best. giving a free card to a possible 7-outer is not a good idea in general.
