I'd be a lot more inclined to just watch the tournament here: http://teamfu.freeshell.org/replayer.html

by pasting in a history. Reading all that is too much like work. Watching it is more like entertainment.

Thank you for posting this. I think I learn a lot by following your actions and comparing them to how I might have played in the same situations.

Could you explain your thinking on hand 34? I doubt I'd have called that raise. Was it a pot odds thing?

i dont like 53 and 54 much - both are marginal calls but what seems most horrible is that you were giving the short stack a chance to more than double up

Button raise to 2.5x BB? It certainly doesn't represent very much strength. I have no reason to think that my top pair won't be good after the flop, and my odds to draw to those 6 outs (+ straight draws, etc.) are fine.

The blinds are 150/300, and by calling the SB only stands to gain an extra 260. Anyway, I have a decent stack, so I'm certainly not gonna start worrying about getting 4th place at this point. Play for 1st.

Hand 54 (SB): 44. CO (610) goes all-in. I call in the SB. BB calls.
flop: JT6, all one suit (i have a 4 of that suit). I check. BB minbets. I fold. BB has T3s. CO has A8s, flopped the nut flush

He essentially minraise (raise to 610 with 150/300 blinds). I can't fold to this with a pair from the SB. Even if I know he has JTs (the worst non-overpair scenario), I'm still certainly getting the odds to play against him. I don't consider this to be close unless you are suggesting I should have raised.

I'm too lazy to be the first to use this to post an SNG, but if someone else does it, and it turns out well, I'd be happy to post some more controversial SNG's.

You could leave the work to us by just posting the full history, leaving it up to us to cut and paste into the replayer. It's pretty painless, really.

hand 3 (SB): 54o 3 limpers to me, i complete, JJ3 flop, i check and fold to a half pot bet
- Why play this at all? Was it all about pot odds? Was it just because you were SB and only had to complete? Connectors?

Hand 12 (SB): 98o utg limps. folded to me, i complete. BB checks. Flop: Q76 rainbow. I bet 45 into 90 chip pot. BB folds.
utg calls. Turn 2. I check. UTG bets 95 into 180 chip pot. I call. River 6. I check. UTG checks. UTG wins w/ QJo.
- Why play this at all? Was it all about pot odds? Was it just because you were SB and only had to complete? Connectors?

Hand 26 88. utg limps. I minraise to 100. Button calls. BB reraises to 500. All fold.
- In hand 15, you raised 3xBB with 77. Why didn't you do the same with this? Seems like the same scenario.

Hand 34 (BB): QTo folded to button who raises to 250. SB folds. I call. Flop QJ3 rainbow. I check.
Button bets 225 into 950 chip pot. I go raise all-in to 950. Button folds. 1725 chips for me.
- Did you call the 250 raise based on thinking he was stealing?

Hand 41 (SB): K7s. Folded to button who minraises. I fold.
- In hand 34, you call a 250 raise with QTo but fold to a minraise with K7s in this hand. Why the difference in play?

Hand 43 (button again because SB was eliminated last hand) 66 UTG (2830) minraises. I go all-in for 1525.
UTG calls with A9s. I win and double up to 3350.
- Was the minraise seen as a sign of weakness on the raisers part?

Hand 54 (SB): 44. CO (610) goes all-in. I call in the SB. BB calls.
flop: JT6, all one suit (i have a 4 of that suit). I check. BB minbets. I fold. BB has T3s. CO has A8s, flopped the nut flush
and triples up. I have 2270 chips after that hand.
- Why did you risk another T460 with 44? Seems the all-in guy had something decent to risk all his chips. I would think my 44 would be really weak for this.

Hand 59 (Button): J8o. CO folds. I go all-in for 1820. SB (2270) folds. BB (1830) folds. I have 2270 chips now.
- Seems gutsy when playing on the bubble. Risking a steal at this point for more chips or is that hand decent enough for that play?

I'm bringing up the hands that I would play differently, whether you won them or not. I'm trying to find leaks in my play since I tend to finish in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th a lot. Explaining them to me may also help you analyze your play on them. Hand 54 seemed to be your downfall hand.
