Default Strong economic leadership

U.S. employers added 248,000 jobs in May, a new Labor Department report said, exceeding estimates and capping the strongest three-month stretch of job growth in four years.

and from another article:

"After recession, 9-11 and war, now our economy has been growing for 10 straight months, John Kerry's response? He's talking about the Great Depression. One thing's sure: Pessimism never created a job."

Only the 10% of voters in the middle really matter in the winning of this election (you may not fit in this category).

Issues like Strong economic leadership and a good economy will matter to this group though.

Hey, we agree! The perception of how the economy is doing around the time of the election is very important in determining who wins.

The economy will need to keep this up for many years just to get us back to where we were when Bush got in.

Sadly, this is true. And in most elections, it seems to be the case. Reagan and Clinton won by capturing the middle-of-the-road votes.
