Final Pot: $20.50 How much should I be betting on the flop and then the turn? I overbet the turn (12 into 8.40) because I wouldn't want to see more than half the deck and would like to punish both drawers. |

After getting all those callers, I would bet the same, maybe pot instead of an overbet. Someone who has 78 has a tough laydown and at the $25 level not sure they could make it. You probably weren't getting anything more out of this unless you were beat IMO.

I wouldnt overbet the pot again, its likely that you are far ahead, and you can probably just string them along for 2-4$

Its not likely that he is far behind with trips/top kicker. The only hand he really loses to is 67 or 66. I think a pot sized bet on the turn is better than overbetting it, but what you did is fine.

I personally like the overbet. Given this is Party NL25, any 3, 4, 8, 9, or spade can ruin your hand. Make them pay to draw, as most times they will. You did a good job of protecting your trips in my opinion.
Additionally, I don't think anyone with a 7 is going anywhere. |
