Average Tourny win rate?
I just bought into 5+1 Party SNGs, and till now I have won 2 tourny's and came 2nd in another out of total 6 played.
Thats 5x6+6x1 = 36$ invested, and return of 65$ for a profit of 29$. Whats a good "in-the-money" rate? I lost most of my winnings in ring games mainly on some bad beats, and trying to get my bonus out. I know I can do good in the SNGs, any tips would be welcome. |

Re: Average Tourny win rate?
Tip #1: Get out of the $5/$1 games on Party and move to either the $10/$1 games on Party or the $5/$0.50 games on (can't remember which site has those). 20% buy-in fee is way too much. The $10/$1 games are just as soft as the $5/$1 games.

Re: Average Tourny win rate?
Royal Vegas/Gaming Club and Stars both have SNG's where the rake is 10% of the entry fee.... those are the only 2 that I know of right away.

Re: Average Tourny win rate?
My Card doesnt work for depositing at Stars and I can't use Neteller, as they dont find my SSN in the US records as I am here on a Visa.
So its only Party for me, atleast for the time being. |

Re: Average Tourny win rate?
absolute poker i've been playing on a little. they too have the 10% rake (ie .50 on $5) they even have lower limits than that. I played a $2.20 one just to get familiar with the site, which i was fortunate enough to win. Also, like stars u start with 1500, not 800.
