When your opponent bet weak on the flop, seems pretty obvious that he was on a str8/flush draw. By the river, that board looked pretty ugly for your QQ...a multitude of hands would have beat you. Glad to see you checked behind on the end...think he was trying to set you up for a trap.

btw- you should have bet MORE on the flop to make it expensive for him to draw...but instead you raised him to an amount smaller than the pot

Sorry, but I misread the position of players in this hand. Tried to edit my original message, but too late...

Reading it all over again, I would've put the button on AK/AQ. Is AJ/KJ/QJ possible, sure, but not likely...and JJ/10s/JT is out of the question, since he checked on the river. I'm pretty sure you pulled out ahead in this one.

Here's what I would've reckoned if YOU would have raised first (say from EP) and he called from the button...
I think it would have been wiser to check on the river and see what he does behind you -- even with AA/KK. You don't want to put any money in the end, only for him to come over the top and set you all-in on this ugly board.

Actually we're both way off, he had a set of 7's....not sure why he didn't push on the flop but he let me hit my 2 outer.
