Default Antes but no Blind, how do I play?

Not sure if this is the proper forum or not, but hopefully someone will have some advice for me.

I play in a home game where we generally play 5 to 7 handed NLHE (amongst other games). The game is played with no blinds, but everyone is forced to ante $1. Average stack size varies between $30-50. My question is this, what types of hands should I be playing for what types of PF raises? When should I raise, when should I call raises PF?

Obviously, I am out of my element here, and any advice would be appreciated. I normally play online LHE and play with this group of friends for fun, but would like to have SOME basis for solid play.

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

I've never heard of this structure but you need to clarify one thing. Does everyone still need to call a single SB to see an unraised flop?

In order to see an unraised flop, everyone must post an ante of $1

Either the Home Game, or no-limit forum might have better discussion.

But I would probably raise a little more than the size of the pot with a medium to big pair, or a big ace.

It also depends on how willing your opponents are to fold.

Good luck
play well,
