Default Timeshares

Figured this would be the best forum for this.

Has anyone tried selling a timeshare? If so what source did you use? Any advice or experiences that you want to share investing/dealing with timeshares?

I tried using a company that specializes in selling timeshares. I gave them $500 and they would advertise my timeshare for a year. Sounded like a good idea at the time until the year came and went and I never heard anther word from them. Even after I called them up asking what the status was, all's they said was it was advertised and nothing else they could do. Next time I know I will sign with somebody who will get paid commision AFTER it closes.

it looks like you fall for every scam there is. time shares is one, and another is paying in advance for a real estate sale.
try your local paper and hope another live one comes along.
or donate it at its inflated price and take the write off and learn a good lesson. good luck.
