Nothing u can do with a suckout. I guess SB must've been hoping you had KK or JJ.

As an aside, what was MP3 thinking of calling 1/2 his stack to fold on flop?

Unlucky

Preflop bet is good... Although I wouldn't consistently bet 5x the BB on big pairs... change up between 3x and 5x.

On the flop, $500 is a nice bet to clean up against an Ace. When reraised by that Ace, you are WELL ahead (he has 4 outs (1 A, 3 T), 7 after the turn (1 A, 3 T, and 3 9s) if he doesn't hit an out), and you know he will call whatever you throw, so you absolutely HAVE to go all in...

What happens next is pure luck there. You had the SB right were you wanted him, and he hit a lucky runner-runner.

Good playing by you.
